This might come as a surprise, but I absolutely love going food shopping for yummy, healthy, low calorie foods. Food shopping for me is an exciting event (though it can be quite stressful at times) and I usually spend quite a while in the supermarket looking at all the stuff. There are some things I typically buy and consume over the next week, so I thought I’d write a list:

  • low fat muller yoghurt
  • green giant sweetcorn
  • chewing gum
  • weight watchers ready meals
  • sunmaid raisins
  • diet coke / pepsi max
  • special k cereal bars
  • melba toast
  • rice cakes
  • low fat cheese
  • spaghetti w/ sausages
  • royal gala apples
  • tomato soup
  • turkey breast
  • belvita breakfast biscuits
  • m&s sushi snack box
  • watermelon

I’ll add more when I can think of some! I guess you could describe these as my safe foods, as they are all low in calories and mostly low in fat. As a bonus they all taste really great which is why I enjoy eating them often.
